TH will supply two new APNH filter presses

TH is developing a lead and zinc dewatering plant that will include two filter presses of the new APNH series. The filter presses will be equipped with top-feed polypropylene plates and will include a filter cloth internal counter current washing system (ICLW), as well as a cake air drying system (CD).

TH's APNH new range intends to expand the company's filtration equipment offering. The new product family has been specifically designed for high-capacity filtration processes and can be fitted with up to 230 filter chambers. A single hydraulic cylinder is used to open and close the filter press, maximizing their operation while reducing the space needed at the filtration plant.

Their exclusive pulling system reduces strain on the equipment structure and frame, extending their useful life and making them the ideal filter press for high-rise filtration plants. In case needed, their disassembly and transportation to a future location will also be easier as they do not require any additional structure support.

The APNH filter presses come with numerous configurations. They can be fitted with plates of different sizes, materials, and configurations (chamber or membrane), as well as with a wide range of filter plate pack opening solutions. Their configuration versatility, ease replacement of wear parts and lower energy consumption, will help our customers to reduce their operating costs.
