The “Rencontres des Mines et Carrières” event took place in Tunis on 14-15 November. The topics of the presentations focused on the challenges facing the mining industry in Africa.
In Tunisia, 90% of mining is in the field of phosphate production, and the country is an international pioneer in the field of rock phosphate and mineral fertilisers.
TH decided to take part in the event in view of the importance of the construction materials, ceramics and glass industries in Tunisian industry as a whole.
